We are a UK organisation which was born out of two Dorset speed limit campaigns - The Wessex Way and Dorset Way.
We are challenging the Highway Authority (often the local authority) to set 'realistic' speed limits, balancing the need for safety -v- civil liberties / democracy.
We are committed to road safety, but not by simply reducing speed without considering all the factors. Driver ability, road layout, drugs / alcohol / tiredness etc. all play a part and should be taken into account.
